Today I am very excited because I am going to show you how to straighten and treat your hair at home. When I say straighten, I mean that your hair will look just like it would with a salon keratin treatment.

I am going to wash my hair with a cleansing shampoo that I will leave in for 10 minutes before rinsing. I will not condition my hair. After shampooing, I will let it dry naturally to almost 80%. Let me go do it, and I will see you in a while.

As you can see, my hair is about 80% dry now. The next step is to work the Nigelle Botox treatment into each strand. I do this by working small sections at a time. When I have finished applying the treatment to all my hair, I will leave it to finish drying naturally before I straighten it with my flat iron. I will apply heat protection to my hair, but it is optional.

I am almost done. Let me finish straightening this last section. As you can see, my hair is looking very straight without looking limp. What I also love is that it also feels so nourished and it has a lovely lustre.

WASH YOUR HAIR
Wash your hair with the clarifying shampoo. Massage the shampoo into your hair and work up a lather. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse it out. Apply the shampoo one more time. Make sure to rinse it completely out of your hair afterwards. Don't apply any hair conditioner or mask.*Clarifying shampoo is formulated to remove buildup from botox treatment.
DRY YOU HAIR
Blow-dry your hair until it’s completely dry. Run your hands through your hair as you blow-dry on a medium heat setting. Make sure that your hair is entirely dry.
APPLY BOTOX MASK
Make sure your hair is tied and divided in section. Apply the botox mask evenly to your hair, a small section at the time. Take a small section of your hair and apply the botox mask, and really massage it in the hair. The hair will love this! Start with a small amount and increasing until the hair is coated but not overly saturated. Use a fine-tooth comb to work the product into each section, from your roots to ends. Clip up each section when you finish it.
Treat the Hair
Let the product sit for 45 to 60 minutes, for the treament to penetrate. Cover your hair if possible.
Dry and strengthen the hair
Dry the hair 100% and after straighten your hair with a flat iron. Use heat protector if possible! Set the flat iron to medium heat. When your flat iron reaches the correct temperature, straighten your hair in small sections (about one to two inches thick). You may want to clip up sections of your hair beforehand or as you finish straightening them. Using a flat iron that is too hot may scorch your hair and cause breakage, the flatironing is only for the product to penetrate not to style the hair.
Maintaining your treatment.
- Don’t wash your hair for at least three days. Washing your hair too soon will shorten the life of your botox treatment. If you can wait a week before getting your hair wet, even better!- Wash your hair with Sulfate-and Paraben free shampoo & Mask. Did you know? All Ella Mae Shampoo & Masks are Paraben and sulfate-free! - This botox mask can be used as a mask a well afterwards. Every two weeks, when washing the hair, after shampooing apply the mask for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
